Overview

Entrust is supporting our partner's Transform initiative, dedicated to empowering individuals in extreme poverty to uplift themselves through a comprehensive four-month program. Transform is a holistic capacity- building program focusing on four essential components for growing HOPE that propels lasting life-change: Heart (fostering positive values and strong relationships), Opportunity (empowering sustainable livelihoods and savings), Physical (building health and well-being) and Education (launching confident young learners).

Why support this

Collaboration lies at the heart of our partner's central approach, aimed at creating hope that drives transformation. They work closely with local communities, encouraging the most economically disadvantaged families to participate in the program. The group of approximately 30 members, primarily women, undergoes a comprehensive 15-week program focusing on cultivating HOPE. By developing capacity across multiple facets of life, powerful sustainable life changes occur.

$33,000 for year 1 of a 3yr project. Total budget $99,000.

Expected Life Change

• Improved social safety nets offer stability and guard against individuals slipping into deeper poverty.
• Enhanced financial independence and the ability to save result in improved living conditions and decreased instances of illness.
• Children receive a stronger foundational education, mastering fundamental literacy and numeracy skills that pave the way for future educational opportunities.
