Overview
This project expands on previous programs supported by Entrust Foundation aimed at combating trafficking in Thailand. It utilises the collaborative efforts of our partners with Thai law enforcement, anti- trafficking organizations, and faith communities to effectively combat child trafficking in one of Thailand’s major hot spots. The focus is on implementing prevention campaigns targeting migrant children, villages, and schools in northern and eastern Thailand, as well as urban schools. This project provides support for outreach events alongside three dedicated Trafficking Prevention staff. Additionally, it will enhance its online presence to adapt to traffickers' evolving methods of coercing and exploiting children.
Why support this
During our visit in 2023, we were highly impressed by the extensive experience and remarkable achievements of our implementing partner in trafficking prevention, rescue, and restoration. Their plans and breakthroughs were particularly exciting, and it was evident that they operate comprehensively across all facets of trafficking. This project aims to expand their impactful prevention outreaches and also to increase their presence at government run events. Their strong collaboration with the government and their respected reputation highlight their leadership role in the fight against trafficking.
