Giving Circles Launch at sell-out Women’s event
Tickets sold out for our 3rd annual Women’s event in October! The room was abuzz with incredible women supporting and empowering others around the world. The ethical market was a hit, selling beautiful handmade products from our overseas partners as local small businesses. It was a delightful evening of connection, generosity, looking outwards and learning about the lives of women living in hard places. A highlight of the event was the launch our new initiative – Giving Circles.
What are Giving Circles?
Collective giving amplifies impact – the generosity of a group can transform a whole community. Similarly, supporting women living in developing countries has a powerful multiplying effect. For every woman raised out of poverty, she brings 4 other people with her.
Entrust Giving Circles provide a framework for a community of women in Australia to collectively support women around the world, as they lead their families and communities out of poverty.
You can come together as a circle of women, pool resources and passions to support women trapped in poverty. Gather 5-10 friends – perhaps your mother’s group, work colleagues, book club, your old school friends, girls from the golf or tennis club, a group from church. A circle of women with capacity, shared values and a heart to make a difference – together.
Choose the Cause or Country you want to support, decide on your level of Commitment over a 3-year period and be assured that 100% of your giving will be passed on to ensure maximum impact. An Entrust team member will guide you through the entire process and before you know it, your circle of generous friends will be positively impacting lives around the world.
Doing good together strengthens friendships, builds connection and increases impact. Making a difference for women living in really hard places not only makes us feel good, but it also builds solidarity among women across the globe.
If you have questions or are interested in starting a giving circle, please get in touch with the team today or check the Giving Circles page for more information.
Our Women’s event will be back in 2025 and we hope to see you there!
